2024 Sale Results

If there was one word that could sum up our second on-property sale held on Monday 2nd September, it would be proud.

It validates the hard work we have been putting into our genetics and the path we are set on, that of a modern, dual-purpose and measured poll merino. It’s great to see so much excitement and enthusiasm in the merino industry with new and existing clients returning to secure their ram requirements.  

We are a family operated business, and this years’ sale has been nothing short of a team effort from all of us involved here at Old Cobran. With gale force winds blowing from the west that could nearly blow a dog off the chain, we were so relieved to be able to hold our sale inside of the shed to escape the elements.

Following a very tough autumn and winter, in our district, we were very appreciative of the support from our new and existing clients following our sale, with a top price of $4,000 for lot 10 and an average sale of $2,344. This saw an 81% clearance with another three rams selling at the completion of the sale. We are ecstatic and so appreciative of the support.
